Job Responsibilities
As a radiology technologist at KCOA, you’ll be responsible for:
- Performing quality radiographic exams following established protocols
- Using the ALARA principle to minimize radiation dose to the patient
- Obtaining and documenting pregnancy status
- Maintaining the radiology suite
- Documenting radiologic procedures
- Checking all X-ray charges to ensure they are correct
Qualifications
To be considered for an X-ray tech position, you must have the following qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License
