Job Responsibilities

As a radiology technologist at KCOA, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Performing quality radiographic exams following established protocols
  • Using the ALARA principle to minimize radiation dose to the patient
  • Obtaining and documenting pregnancy status
  • Maintaining the radiology suite
  • Documenting radiologic procedures
  • Checking all X-ray charges to ensure they are correct

Qualifications

To be considered for an X-ray tech position, you must have the following qualifications: 

  • Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License
