LEAWOOD, Kan. – Physicians throughout the Kansas City metro have again recognized Timothy M. Badwey, M.D., among Kansas City’s Top Doctors for 2017, according to a survey published this month by 435 Magazine.
The Top Doctors survey helps people find the best doctors in 53 specialty categories throughout the metro. Dr. Badwey is among 367 of the most recommended physicians to earn this distinction.
As a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Badwey provides specialized care for patients with minor to severe foot and ankle conditions. His emphasis includes conservative treatment, orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. He received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in Louisiana and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita Branch.
Before joining Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics in 1993, Dr. Badwey completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Campbell Clinic in Tennessee. Today, he is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and an attending physician at Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute, Saint Luke’s Hospital and Saint Luke’s South Hospital.
In addition to his duties as an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Badwey serves as a Clinical Professor for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine.
