KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Physicians in the Kansas City area again named Timothy M. Badwey, M.D., one of the “Best Doctors” in the metropolitan area, according to a survey released today.
Best Doctors Inc., based in Boston, compiled the Best Doctors list through a biennial peer-review survey of the medical profession. The Kansas City Business Journal today published the list in its Best Doctors section.
Badwey joined Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics in 1993.
Before joining Dickson-Diveley, Badwey finished a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Campbell Clinic in Memphis. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita.
He earned his doctor of medicine degree from Tulane University, New Orleans. He received a bachelor degree in chemistry and biology from Washburn University, Topeka.
Best Doctors accepts no compensation to list doctors in its database. It offers no pay to doctors to participate in its survey process. The survey identifies about 5 percent of doctors practicing in the United States for inclusion on the Best Doctors list. To be included in the peer-selected list, doctors must be seeing patients.
