Meet Dr. Scott Wingerter, an orthopedic surgeon with the Kansas City Orthopedic Alliance who specializes in joint preservation and joint replacement surgery. His goal is getting patients back to enjoying life and remaining active, whether they are a dedicated athlete, weekend warrior, or trying to keep up with the grandkids.

More About Dr. Wingerter
Dr. Wingerter joined the practice in 2013.
He grew up mostly in Georgia and was there through college. He moved to New York for medical school, but eventually made his way south for his residency, where he also completed his PhD.
Dr. Wingerter met his wife while they were both residents in Mississippi. She was born and raised in Kansas City, so they decided to start their careers here after he completed his fellowship in St. Louis.
Outside of Work
The majority of Dr. Wingerter’s life outside of work is focused on his family and their ever-increasing activities. He has a beautiful wife and 2 amazing daughters, and he loves all of their time together. When he finds time to himself outside of his daughters’ activities, Dr. Wingerter enjoys getting out golfing whenever he can. He is also always looking for new travel spots and looking forward to our next vacation.
