With a mission to break the cycle of domestic violence by providing shelter, advocacy, counseling and prevention education, SAFEHOME works with more than 8,000 individuals in our community each year. To support the ongoing need for supplies, Dickson-Diveley will be donating and collecting items for SAFEHOME of Johnson County throughout the month of October – and we invite you to participate.
Here’s how you can join the effort in three easy steps:
- Click here to view and download SAFEHOME’s current list of essential needs.
- Visit any local retailer that carries these types of goods to purchase the items you would like to donate.
- Bring your items to either of our two locations (Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute in Leawood or the Saint Luke’s Plaza location in KCMO). We will have collection bins set up around all physician pods at both locations.
SAFEHOME helps survivors of domestic violence gain inner strength, build self-esteem, explore options, and establish a life free of violence. Please join SAFEHOME and Dickson-Diveley in our efforts to build a safe and healthy local community.
