More About Dr. Chernoff
Dr. Dan Chernoff was born and raised in Kansas City. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at UMKC. After residency Dr. Chernoff ventured west to complete his fellowship training in sports medicine at UCLA.
While there, Dr. Chernoff learned state-of-the art techniques for treating sports related injuries, ligament repair/reconstruction, and cartilage restoration. He was also an assistant team physician for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA), Los Angeles Sparks (WNBA), and UCLA collegiate sports, including the football and basketball teams.
Dr. Chernoff strives to provide excellent outcomes for each of his patients. He believes in the importance of individualizing care to help every person return to their active lifestyle and doing what they love.
Outside of Work
Dr. Chernoff loves spending time outside with his family, golfing, running, and taking care of his plants.
