Dr. Thomas Shriwise of Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics has received recognition from the International Association of HealthCare Professionals (IAHCP) as one of the most respected and trusted physicians in the field of orthopedic surgery.
The IAHCP looked at a variety of factors, including medical education, medical affiliations, consumer reviews, and medical/research contributions. The organization nominated 1 to 2 percent of doctors in each specialty for membership.
The IAHCP also selected Dr. Shriwise for inclusion in The Leading Physicians of the World, IAHCP’s yearly subsidiary magazine that features the “brightest minds” in medicine.
With members from more than 30 specialties and medical associations around the world, IAHCP provides healthcare professionals with a platform to share ideas, access resources, and connect with colleagues and other industry experts.

Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Shriwise specializes in treating knee, hip and shoulder conditions, including sports injuries. He completed his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He also received fellowship training in arthroscopic and reconstructive sports medicine at the University of Toronto’s Orthopaedic & Arthritic Hospital. Prior to joining Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics in 2003, he had a solo orthopedic practice for 15 years in Atchison, Kan.
To remain up-to-date in orthopedic care and sports medicine, Dr. Shriwise also maintains active memberships in the American Academy for Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Association Medical Honor Society, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and Kansas Orthopaedic Society.
