More About Dr. Bonanni
Dr. Sean Bonanni was born in South Africa and came to Kansas City as a young teen. He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City, and completed his orthopedic surgery training there as well. After residency, Dr. Bonanni ventured east to complete his fellowship training in hip and knee adult reconstruction and joint preservation at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC. He also spent time learning about myriad hip and knee soft tissue and cartilage injuries in adults.
Dr. Bonanni states that his job is to empower his patients and help them accomplish their goals however they decide that is, doctor and patient as one. He knows that coming to a surgeon’s office can be somewhat intimidating, but he hopes to create a welcoming environment where you can come up with the best personalized treatment plan – together.
Outside of Work
Dr. Bonanni loves spending time outside; hiking, fishing and golfing. His young family keeps him busy, and they enjoy being outdoors swimming and exploring.
