A survey of Kansas City physicians has again recognized six Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics physicians among the best doctors in Kansas City.
The survey by MSP Communications named the following Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics physicians to its Kansas City Super Doctors® list for 2016:
- Timothy Badwey, M.D.
- Brian Divelbiss, M.D.
- C. Lan Fotopoulos, M.D.
- Robert Gardiner, M.D.
- Lowry Jones Jr., M.D.
- Charles Rhoades, M.D.
The Super Doctors® designation places them among the top five percent of the metro area’s active physicians.
Each year, the MSP Communications undertakes a rigorous multi-phase selection process. The process includes a survey of doctors, an independent evaluation of candidates by research staff and a peer review of candidates by practice area. The selection process also checks each physician for good professional standing and disciplinary action.
As a part of its survey of doctors, the Minneapolis-based organization asks participating physicians the following question: “If you needed medical care in one of the following practice areas, which doctor would you choose?”
Since the survey started in 2005, four Dickson-Diveley surgeons – Drs. Badwey, Gardiner, Jones and Rhoades – have received the Super Doctors designation 10 years in a row. Dr. Fotopoulos received it eight years and Dr. Divelbiss received it seven years in a row.
