About Dr. Charles Rhoades
Dr. Rhoades specializes in care and treatment for hand and wrist, shoulder, knee and elbow conditions, as well as sports medicine. Upon joining Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics in 1984, he served as President and CEO of the practice for 24 years.
In 1998, he organized the creation of Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute – the region’s only dedicated orthopedic hospital and one of our affiliated hospitals – and has served as CEO of the hospital ever since.
Dr. Rhoades is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of California-San Diego.
About Dr. Timothy M. Badwey
As a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Badwey provides specialized care for patients with minor to severe foot and ankle conditions. His emphasis includes conservative treatment, orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. He received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in Louisiana and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita Branch.
Before joining Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics in 1993, Dr. Badwey completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Campbell Clinic in Tennessee. Today, he is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and an attending physician at Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute, Saint Luke’s Hospital and Saint Luke’s South Hospital.
In addition to his duties as an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Badwey serves as a Clinical Professor for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine.
