Micaila works alongside Dr. Michael Khadavi. Micaila attended Northwest Missiouri State University for her undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences, and obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Missouri State University. She’s always had a passion for science and a deep desire to help others; previously, she was a research assistant at University of Kansas Medical Center. Micaila currently specializes in back/lumbar spine, knee and hip conditions and looks forward to helping patients recover from injury, regain mobility post-surgery, and manage chronic conditions.

More About Micaila Lopez
She states that her main focus/goal during patient interactions is to make sure patients feel included in the healthcare decisions that we make together. No patient will have “perfect” circumstances, so meeting them somewhere in the middle and communicating effectively has been a priority for me starting as a new provider.
“KCOA has already made me feel supported as an establishing provider, and I really love that with Dr. Khadavi, I will be seeing a wide range of pathologies and always thinking out of the box to make sure things are not overlooked.”
Micaila loves the outdoors. You can find her hiking, traveling, and caring for a couple of cows that she and her fiancé own!
