As a nurse practitioner, Katie Macdonald works alongside Dr. James Halloran and Dr. Timothy Badwey to care for patients with conditions affecting the foot, ankle and knee, including sports injuries. Katie has a master’s degree in nursing from Saint Luke’s College of Health Sciences and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indiana University. She joined Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics in October 2016.
Like all our PAs and APRNs, Katie is highly skilled in treating orthopedic injuries. She also sees sports medicine patients in her own clinic at Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics on certain days each week. Because she works with foot, ankle and knee surgeons, the conditions she most commonly helps evaluate and treat include foot and ankle fractures, arthritic conditions, tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, meniscus tears and ACL injuries, among others.
