Physicians in the Kansas City area again named Timothy M. Badwey, M.D., one of the “Best Doctors” in the metropolitan area, according to a survey released last week.
Best Doctors Inc., based in Boston, compiled the Best Doctors list through a peer-review survey of the medical profession. The Kansas City Business Journal published the list on September 25 in its Best Doctors section.
Badwey joined Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics in 1993.
Before joining Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics, Badwey completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Campbell Clinic in Memphis. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita.
Dr. Badwey earned his medical degree at Tulane University in New Orleans and received his bachelor degree in chemistry and biology from Washburn University in Topeka.
Best Doctors accepts no compensation to list doctors in its database. It offers no pay to doctors to participate in its survey process. The survey identifies about five percent of doctors practicing in the United States for inclusion on the Best Doctors list. To be included in the peer-selected list, doctors must be actively engaged in practicing medicine and seeing patients.
