Intracept® for Chronic Low Back Pain: Eric’s Story

At age 18, Eric VanHoozier began experiencing severe back pain. He was a catcher for his baseball team, and Eric’s doctor thought he probably was experiencing growing pains or the soreness that can develop as a result of playing sports.

Eric lived with that pain his entire adult life – until he learned about the Intracept® Procedure. Then his life changed.

Intracept is an outpatient, minimally invasive procedure that may be an option for certain patients with chronic low back pain. After Eric underwent the procedure – which was performed by Dr. Theodore Koreckij, spine surgeon at Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics – he couldn’t believe the difference in how he felt after almost 30 years of low back pain.
