Good news for patients and referring physicians: our physician care team has expanded. Mark J. Winston, M.D., an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand, wrist and upper extremity injuries as well as sports medicine, is now seeing patients at Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics.
As the newest member of a care team comprising 17 surgeons and physicians – four of whom specialize in hand, wrist and upper extremity conditions – Dr. Winston is dedicated to providing personalized orthopedic care and treatment for each patient. Conditions he commonly treats include:

Originally from Green Bay, Wis., Dr. Winston earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He graduated summa cum laude and was selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. He went on to complete his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, where he served as Administrative Chief Resident. In addition, he was recognized by the American Orthopedic Association as an Emerging Leader in Orthopedics.
Before joining Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics, Dr. Winston completed his hand and upper extremity fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery/Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, N.Y. During his time in New York, Dr. Winston provided upper extremity care for the New York Giants, New York Mets, New York Rangers and New York Knicks professional sports teams. He also trained with some of the top leaders in hand and elbow surgery.
Dr. Winston is board eligible in orthopedic surgery and an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, a national organization that provides resources to help orthopedic surgeons stay current with industry standards, which in turn ensures patients receive the highest quality care.
