Stanley A. Bowling, M.D., board-certified orthopedic surgeon, will speak at the Smithfield Foods National Safety Conference on March 2 at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. The topic of his presentation will be Shoulder Injuries: Treatment and Injury Prevention.
Dr. Bowling joined Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics in 1999. He has more than 15 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, and he specializes in fractures and orthopedic trauma, particularly shoulder injuries and lower extremity injuries.
Dr. Bowling is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and his bachelor of science in biology from Southwestern College before completing his residency in orthopedic surgery at Creighton University/Nebraska Health Foundation. In addition, he is a clinical assistant professor with the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine.
