On Monday, Sept. 11, Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics proudly sponsored and participated in the Kids’ Chance 14th Annual Kansas City Golf Tournament. The fundraising event, hosted by Kids’ Chance of Missouri, took place at Oakwood Country Club. The practice’s sponsorship included its foursome of players and one of the course’s 18 holes.

Kids’ Chance of Missouri is a non-profit organization that provides post-high school scholarships to children of Missouri workers who were killed or disabled while on the job. These scholarships go toward tuition, education materials, living expenses, and other related incidental expenses for education. During the 2016-17 school year alone, the organization awarded over $250,000 in scholarships.

Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics and its physicians are dedicated to giving back to the local Kansas City community, where the practice has been serving patients since 1923. Along with the golf tournament, the practice has participated in fundraising efforts for local 2017 events such as the CCVI Trolley Run, Walk to Cure Arthritis, and Rock the Ribbon II.
