More About Brooke Barnes
Brooke earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master’s in Nursing from the University of Kansas. Her passion for helping others led her into healthcare, where she has focused on orthopedic care throughout her career. Prior to joining KCOA, Brooke worked at Kansas City Bone and Joint for eight years and spent four years at Children’s Mercy Hospital in the Recovery Room, where she cared for children of all ages.
At KCOA, Brooke’s focus is understanding her patients’ concerns and goals, ensuring they feel informed and comfortable with their treatment plans. She values building a strong rapport with her patients, believing that a collaborative approach is key to finding the best treatment options.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to see patients move from being injured or in pain to getting back to the activities they love,” she says.
Outside of Work
Brooke is a wife and mother of three children who keep her busy with family activities. She enjoys spending time with her family and staying active.
