KANSAS CITY, Mo – Physicians throughout the Kansas City metro have recognized Timothy M. Badwey, M.D. among the area’s Top Doctors for 2018, according to a list published by 435 Magazine in partnership with Castle Connolly Medical Ltd, a healthcare research and information company. Dr. Badwey was one of 19 local physicians named as a Top Doctor in Orthopaedic Surgery.
The 2018 Top Doctors list is designed to help people find the best doctors in 57 specialty categories throughout the metro. Its nomination survey, research, screening and selection process involves thousands of physicians as well as academic medical centers, specialty hospitals, and regional and community hospitals across the nation.
Dr. Badwey provides specialized care for patients with minor to severe foot and ankle conditions. His emphasis includes conservative treatment, orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. He received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in Louisiana and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita Branch. He also completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Campbell Clinic in Tennessee.
Today, he is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and an attending physician at Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute, Saint Luke’s Hospital and Saint Luke’s South Hospital. In addition to his duties as an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Badwey serves as a Clinical Professor for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine.
