Physicians in the Kansas City area again named Timothy M. Badwey, M.D., board-certified orthopedic surgeon, among the region’s “Super Doctors,” placing him in the top five percent of the metro’s active physicians. This is the tenth consecutive year that Dr. Badwey has earned this prestigious recognition.
Each year, MSP Communications undertakes a rigorous, multi-phase selection process to identify the Kansas City Super Doctors®. In one phase, they survey local doctors and ask them, among other things, which doctors they would choose for their own medical care in various areas of practice. Other phases of the selection process include an independent evaluation of candidates by research staff, a peer review of candidates by practice area, and checking each physician for good professional standing and disciplinary action.
Dr. Badwey specializes in foot and ankle surgery, ankle arthroscopy and Achilles tendon repair. He joined Dickson-Diveley Orthopaedics in 1993 after completing a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Campbell Clinic in Memphis. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita and earned his medical degree from Tulane University.
